QUT Gardens Theatre Season 2019

Gardens Theatre

1st January - 30th November

Life happens when we’re busy making other plans. Wending its way through the rollercoaster moments, QUT Gardens Theatre’s 2019 season has a show for each of us, for every season of life.

Opening in March, Season 2019 begins with real life married couple Kate Raison (A Country Practice) and Brian Meegan proving you never know what goes on behind closed doors, in Jim Cartwright’s dramatic comedy Two.

From 19–20 March, one of Australia’s best-loved stories returns to the stage as The Sapphires shines a light on four young Aboriginal women on the cusp of greatness.

Comedy king Michael Veitch (The D Generation) brings back the golden age of radio as a fading star Mystery in the Air on 3–4 April, followed by an edge-of-your-seat thriller about a brutal murder in small-town France in L’amante Anglaise from 28–29 June.

In July, Mandi Lodge stars in My Brilliant Divorce, one woman’s endearingly funny journey to divorce and out the other side, while Spencer – a new show from Australian writer Katy Warner – proves there’s no such thing as fun for the whole family on 23–24 August!
