Star Wars Live Movie Experience

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre

15th February, 2pm & 7.30pm

“I am a Jedi, like my father before me...”

The Star Wars live movie experience returns to Brisbane with Return of the Jedi, the third instalment of this popular series. Queensland Symphony Orchestra will perform John Williams’ iconic soundtrack live while the original film plays on the big screen.

In the now-legendary 1983 film, Darth Vader readies the second Death Star to unleash the final blow to the Rebel Alliance. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Chewbacca are joined by Jabba the Hutt, Yoda and the Ewoks in this adventure across the galaxy. Don’t miss this epic live movie experience.

Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s live movie experiences present iconic films in a completely new way. In these performances, the original film is projected complete with all the sound effects and dialogue – but without music. Instead the music is performed live on stage.

What makes this show so unique?

  • Small details you may not have originally noticed suddenly spring into the foreground.
  • Suspenseful scenes you might have thought were all to do with editing and camerawork turn out to be drawing their power from the music underneath.

The experience is unmatched. Previous live movie experiences have featured iconic films series including Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park.
