Have you ever heard about a fantastic show after it happened? There is nothing worse than the feeling of missing out on, simply because you didn’t know what was on. That's why our mission is to take Brisbane culture news to you. And to keep doing that the best we can, the What’s on Guide has a brand new look.
For four years, the What’s on Guide has been the only print guide dedicated solely to arts and entertainment in Brisbane. Found in cafes, libraries and cinemas across the city, it is your curated guide to music, exhibitions, must-see shows, musicals, festivals, film and more.
The city’s cultural appetite has grown in the last few years, so we have changed to keep up. With a new look and larger format, we are thrilled to bring you more shows, stories and ideas each month. Explore this new edition to discover the events you won’t want to miss this summer.
Every year we hear that ‘print is dying’, yet Brisbane is hungry for it, with 15,000 copies of the What’s on Guide picked up every month! It’s far from dead, because in such a busy world, print slows us down – and that’s something we will always need.
To find out where you can collect your copy, check out all the cafes in our network. There is nothing that excites us more than seeing someone pick up a guide while waiting for their coffee (rather than picking up their phone). We can’t wait to keep bringing you the best of the arts every month – they are the backbone of a rich and vibrant life.
PS, When you find yours, share your coffee/reading break with us by tagging us: @creative_brisbane #CreativeBrisbane.
